Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
It is the intent of the Ankeny Schools to provide an educational program designed to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of all students. We recognize that parental input is paramount if the administration and staff of are to enlist the support of the citizenry in working toward common goals. Furthermore, the responsibility of long-range planning for a better school system is a shared responsibility.
In order to cooperate as fully as possible with parents, a PAC has been established in each school to reflect the views of parents concerning the educational needs and issues of Ankeny students.
Each secondary school in Ankeny has a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) which meets to discuss school structures and routines that impact teaching and learning. While each PAc may vary in its structure and meeting schedules, each school administration places high value in working with parents to assure that school assures a safe, respectful environment for high performance teaching and learning.
